Who We Are
RK Doors Inc. is a private, family owned and operated manufacturer of architectural wood doors, based in Toronto, Canada. RK was established in 2010, with a founding team consisting of over 100 years of combined experience in the architectural woodwork industry.
Excellent customer service is the backbone of our organization – the lasting relationships we have developed from day one are a testament to our dedication to quality.
With the successful completion of thousands of projects throughout North America and beyond, our dedication to quality, service and value continues to open new doors that bring new opportunities to serve and grow.
Our History
2010
RK Doors Inc. was founded. The founding team consists of 10 employees from the closure of JWS Manufacturing Ltd., a woodworking company with over 50 years of experience in architectural woodwork, doors & frames.
RK Doors moves in to a 20,000 square foot production facility to begin operations, with one primary focus – architectural wood doors. RK completes its first door project in Toronto.
2011
RK Doors sends its first shipment to the US – gaining attention from many clients in the Northeast US region; due to an unparalleled level of quality and on-time commitment.
2013
Following a successful initial 3 years with consistent year-over-year growth, RK Doors moves into a permanent, 45,000 square foot production facility.
2016
RK Doors increases production capacity by adapting new woodworking technologies, including a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining centre to double hardware machining capacity.
2018
RK Doors expands to a team of 25 employees and continues to strengthen relationships with life-long customers. RK has now doubled production capacity since inception.
RK Doors received FSC chain of custody certification – now offering FSC-certified and LEED-compliant products.
2019
RK Doors invests in new woodworking machinery to further increase production efficiency and capabilities, including 5-axis machining.
2020
RK Doors expands to the Western US region – now servicing new clients on the west coast for high-end residential and commercial developments.
