In 2010, the RK leadership team saw a need for premium, high-quality wood doors for commercial and high-end residential applications. RK’s goal was to do one thing, and do it right – manufacture custom architectural wood doors on a project-by-project basis, with extreme attention to detail, 100% in-house (raw materials to a finished door). Backed by decades of experience in the architectural woodwork industry, RK has quickly become known as a reputable door manufacturer in North America.

Every project is unique, and whether it be a single door or 100, we are able to customize door construction per our customers’ requirements. As we custom-build each door, this allows for manufacturing and design flexibility. With the highest grade of industrial woodworking machinery (including two multi-axis CNC working centres), we are able to integrate complex door requirements and designs, bringing your vision to reality.

We maintain our entire operation under one roof in a 45,000 square foot manufacturing facility. This allows us to manage all parts of the production seamlessly, including complex processes such as veneering, hardware preparation, and pre-finishing.

RK Doors is FSC Certified, holding the Chain of Custody Certification FSC-STD-40-004. You can view our certification here.
FSC certification is considered the “gold standard” for wood harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is the largest sustainable forestry standard setter in the world.
From leaving the forest to arriving in a consumer’s hands, wood products go through a complex supply chain; we received our chain of custody certification in 2018. RK is audited by the Forest Stewardship Council on an annual basis, to validate we are consistently meeting standards that require environmental, social and economic sustainability.
We manufacture products with material sourced from forests that protect endangered species, set aside a portion of land as forest reserve, follow FSC guidelines to determine how, when and where forest products are harvested, and respect the rights of local communities and indigenous people.
